Maxsea provides the rich elements of seaweed

Scientists have been trying to unravel the mysteries of seaweed and plant growth for decades. Studies at Clemson University's Department of Horticulture show that seaweed…

  • Improves nutrient uptake via natural chelating/complexing agents.
  • Optimizes soil/seed nutrient conditions for seed germination.
  • Supports and enhances conditions for better transplant establishment.
  • Improves overall plant nutrition.
  • Optimizes soil nutrient conditions for root and plant growth.
  • Improves nutrient conditions for overall plant mass.
  • Supports soil nutrient conditions for better crop size and yield.
  • Optimizes conditions for tolerance to abiotic stress from frost, heat, and drought.
  • Enhances and supports beneficial soil microbe activity.

Seaweed contains over 60 recognized elements, as well as essential vitamins, enzymes, amino acids, alginates, natural antibiotics, carbohydrate compounds, and hormones, all known to be beneficial to plants.

The seaweed granules in Maxsea (Ascophllum nodosum) are of the highest purity, sustainably harvested from the cold, clean waters of the north Atlantic. All components are in concentrated water-soluble form and readily absorbed.

“The reasons why seaweed extracts are beneficial to plant growth are still not fully understood. This is not so difficult to appreciate, for anyone working with plants knows that nature reveals her secrets reluctantly.”
