MAXSEA PLANT FOODS are an excellent choice for foliar or root feeding, as well as for use in hydroponic systems. They are easy to apply using hose-end applicators, drip systems or fertilizer injectors . . . or simply by using a gardener’s watering can. One tablespoon of Maxsea yields one gallon of plant food.

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: Dissolve one heaping tablespoon per gallon of water.

TYPE OF PLANT APPLICATION RATE
Outdoor Containers Intermittent feeding: 1 heaping tbs. per gal. every 7–14 days.
Constant feeding: 1 level tsp. per gal. every watering.
Apply enough solution to cause drainage from container.
Indoor Containers Intermittent feeding: 2 level tsp. per gallon every 7–14 days.
Constant feeding: ½ level tsp. per gal. every watering.
Outdoor Plantings 1 heaping tbs. per gallon every 7–14 days.
Apply approximately ½ gal. per plant or 1 gal. per 6 sq. ft.
Shrubs & Trees 1 heaping tbs. per gallon every 2–4 weeks.
Apply approximately 1 gal. per 6 sq. ft.
Transplants 2 level teaspoons per gallon at time of planting.
Apply approximately 1 gallon per 6 sq. ft.
Carnivorous Plants ¼ teaspoon per gallon every 3 to 4 weeks.
Lightly mist foliage, do not pour through soil.

To foliar feed your entire yard, use a convenient hose end sprayer, fertilizer injector or add to an irrigation only storage tank.

Injectors 1:16 1-⅓ cups (8 oz. by weight) per gal. ⅓ cup (2 oz. by weight) per gal.
Injectors 1:100 8 cups (48 oz. by weight) per gal. 2 cups (12 oz. by weight) per gal.
Hose-end Sprayers 1 cup (6 oz. by weight) add water to make 1 pint of concentrate
set dial to 1 tbs. per gal.
1 cup (6 oz. by weight) add water to make 1 pint of concentrate
set dial to 1 tsp. per gal.
Irrigation Tanks:
per 100 gallons
8 cups (48 oz. by weight) 2 cups (12 oz. by weight)

Be sure soil is moist before applying Maxsea; never apply any fertilizer to dry plants. Keep out of the reach of children and away from pets. Always follow label instructions.
